Cambodia is located in South Eastern Asia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand, between Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. It is classified as a least developed country (LDC). Major exports comprise of articles of apparel, accessories, knit or crochet printed books. The majority of exports are destined to the United States and Hong Kong. Cambodia records a trade deficit with imports of petroleum products, fabrics, vehicles, wholesale yarn, cigarettes, electrical communication equipment and medicine. Cambodia’s main import partners are the United States, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Canada and Vietnam.
